Brief School History
Washington High School, established in 1999 and now boasting over 2000 students from across the country, offers a diverse range of educational pathways to ensure a holistic and productive learning experience. WHS has garnered a reputation for its outstanding facilities and a team of highly qualified teachers serving both junior and senior high school levels, making it a symbol of educational excellence. In 2004, the school introduced the Overseas Preparatory Studies Program, which was subsequently renamed Washington International School in Taichung (WIST) in 2021. WIST has earned its stellar reputation through its exceptional facilities and a dedicated team of educators who serve the needs of junior and senior high school students.
