華盛頓中學國際部高二陳宇威同學「整修舊電腦」捐贈偏鄉
從別人的需要，看見自己的責任

This W.I.S.T. student is unique. Yu-Wei CHEN, Grade 11, is working to reduce educational inequality between urban and rural schools. This year, he has launched an initiative to donate returned computers to those in need.
With the support of his father and his passion for computers, Yu-Wei independently located a total of 32 second-hand computers, repaired them, and donated them to rural primary schools, embodying the spirit of, “Take from society, give back to society.”
W.I.S.T. students make life meaningful with what they have learned in class.

疫情警戒第三級停課期間，不少偏鄉孩子因受限家中經濟，沒有電腦可以上線上課，就讀華盛頓中學國際部高二陳宇威同學與爸爸陳立凱醫師，一起發起「送舊電腦到偏鄉」的活動。
憑著對電腦的好奇與熱愛，陳宇威同學自學考取電腦硬體裝修丙級證照，發揮電腦裝修專長，讓32部舊電腦再生利用。未來還會持續第二波擴大募集，讓這份溫暖的心意繼續傳遞出去。
國際部各種國際化多元課程，啟發、培養學生更宏觀的思維，從校園向外延伸走入社會。教育不只限於課堂上，更是取之社會、回饋於社會，強化社會互動能讓教育更加扎根踏實。
