WIST Achieves Outstanding International Admissions Results: Students Advance to UC Berkeley and World-Class Universities

The 2026 overseas university admissions results have been announced, and WIST has once again demonstrated exceptional international performance. Student Liu Jun-Heng has been admitted to the prestigious University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley). In addition, multiple students have gained admission to globally renowned institutions across the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, France, and Italy. The total scholarship amount has reached NTD 55 million. Each year, WIST students are admitted to top universities such as UC Berkeley, reflecting consistent excellence and strong global competitiveness.

2026年海外大學申請成果揭曉，WIST再度締造亮眼國際升學表現。劉峻亨同學成功錄取美國頂尖名校柏克萊大學 UC Berkeley ，同時亦有多位學生錄取世界知名學府，版圖遍及美國、英國、澳洲、法國與義大利等地，累積獎學金總額達新臺幣5千5百萬元。WIST年年皆有學生進入柏克萊等頂尖學府，展現多元升學成果與穩健的國際競爭力。 

Henry has studied within the Washington education system since an early age, progressing seamlessly from elementary through secondary school, with a consistent and steadily advancing academic journey. During his time at school, he demonstrated outstanding performance. Beginning in middle school, he actively participated in the VEX Robotics Club, engaging in numerous competitions and accumulating extensive hands-on experience and achievements. He also founded the team “The Connectors,” dedicated to promoting access to technology education, showcasing remarkable leadership. His combination of academic excellence and engineering skills highlights the diverse development and strong international potential of WIST students.

Henry自小於華盛頓體系就讀，自華小一路直升華中，學習歷程完整且持續精進。在校期間表現優異，自國中起即投入VEX機器人社團，長期參與相關競賽，累積豐富實作經驗與競賽成果。同時，他亦創立「The Connectors」團隊，致力推動科技教育普及，展現出優異的領導能力。其兼具學術實力與工程實作能力的表現，充分體現學生多元發展與國際升學潛力。

Beyond top U.S. universities, students have also achieved remarkable results across diverse fields and international institutions. Sunny was admitted to the University of California, San Diego, majoring in Human Biology. As early as Grade 10, he began addressing the issue of “period poverty” by founding “Warm You Charity,” integrating Taiwan’s tea culture into fundraising initiatives and demonstrating strong social awareness and initiative. Zack has been admitted to the University of California, Davis and the University of California, Irvine for pre-med Biomedical Engineering programs. During his time at school, he served as president of Interact Club and received recognition from the London School of Economics. In addition, he was awarded an $80,000 scholarship from UC Santa Cruz. Meanwhile, Maresk has been admitted to the University of the Arts London, IFA Paris, and ESMOD, showcasing outstanding potential in the fields of art and design.

除美國名校外，學生於多元領域與錄取國際知名學府亦有亮眼表現。Sunny錄取加州大學聖地亞哥分校人類生物學系，他在高一時就開始關注「月經貧窮」議題並創立「Warm You Charity」，結合臺灣茶文化進行公益募款，展現社會關懷與行動力；Zack同學錄取加州大學戴維斯分校與加州大學爾灣分校的醫科先修生物醫學工程系，在校期間他還擔任扶少團團長並獲得英國倫敦政經學院獎，除此之外，他還拿到UC Santa Cruz八萬美金獎學金；Maresk同學則錄取英國倫敦藝術大學、IFA Paris法國國際時裝學院及ESMOD法國高等服裝設計學院，展現藝術與設計領域的深厚潛能。

WIST students have also achieved strong results in Australia and Canada. Admissions include top Australian universities such as the University of Melbourne, the University of New South Wales, the University of Sydney, Monash University, and the University of Queensland. In Canada, students have been admitted to leading institutions including the University of Toronto and the University of British Columbia. These accomplishments span multiple world-class education systems and highlight the academic strength and professional potential of WIST students across disciplines.

在澳洲與加拿大升學方面亦成果豐碩，學生錄取包含墨爾本大學、新南威爾斯大學、雪梨大學、蒙納許大學與昆士蘭大學等澳洲頂尖學府；加拿大方面則有學生錄取多倫多大學與英屬哥倫比亞大學等知名學校。整體表現不僅涵蓋多個全球頂尖教育體系，更在學校層級與學術聲譽上表現突出，展現華盛頓中學WIST學生在學術與專業領域的全面實力。
